Dell Latitude D600/505 Startup Problem

WXP_Main
If you have a Dell Latitude D600 laptop that has problems starting up and only blinks some LEDs (power LED, caps lock LED) press down the F7 and F8 key and press the power button at the same time.
The reason this might work is because a soldering point to the BIOS lies below the F7 & F8 keys. By pressing them down you can manually re-connect this soldering point.
If your computer will not start with this trick, I suggest a Google Search or contacting Dell support.
