SuseStudio: Easy Linux Install Disc Creation

I’ve been invited to the Alpha release of Novell’s SuseStudio, almost 9 months after I’ve first written about it. And I am impressed. The interface is dead simple. Within a few minutes and clicks you can generate your very own openSuse installation DVD/CD, VMWare image or live ISO. There are also a couple of pre-defined settings.

Maybe I could use this to create a “perfect” Linux Media Center system. Although I would prefer a Fedora or Ubuntu base system. So far the use is free with 15GB of storage for my appliances. But I guess, Novell will charge in near future to use the system or for more storage or sharing appliances.

You can also watch a screencast that explains all the features of SuseStudio.
