Google Video: Videos in 16:9 aspect ratio?

I finished to upload my recordings from last weekend to Google Video. But I have to say, the service is actually pretty stupid. My videos are all recorded with an aspect ratio of 16:9 (the same as on DVDs). I have now seen, that Google Videos does change the resolution to 320×240 with a bitrate at 450 Kbps.
For a little test I re-encoded a short clip to various formats and uploaded them to Google’s service. None of them was shown in 16:9.
Has anybody found a solution how to show videos with that aspect ratio? Any help is appreciated!

Or what do you think looks better?

By the way: sorry to all speakers on my videos. I try to fix it as soon as possible 🙂
