How much is a website worth?

GigaOM reports, the web calendar Kiko is selling on eBay for as little as $50’000. On the eBay page, the Kiko shows some Google Analytics stats from July 7 to August 6 and 39’803 visits (33.81% are returning visitors).

That made me curious. 40’000 visitors and selling for $50’000? So I checked my Google Analytics account for this domain (www.cocaman.ch). According to that stats, my page had during the same time period (Fri 7/7/2006 to Sun 8/6/2006) 156’344 visitors and a woshing 66.42% are returning visitors (okay, in that stat you see the peak at the beginning, that was the time I discovered the Google GDrive (aka “Platypus”) page on writely.com, but without that, I still got 123’548 visitors).
In this month (August 2006) my site allready had 62’325 visitors (of which 86.54% are returning).

Let’s do the math:
39’803 visitors are worth $50’000
156’344 visitors are worth $124’459

So if anybody has interest in my domain, the code/projects (all but my images and photography, sorry 🙂 ), drop me a note and we can talk about that.
