Read more about The New Web Project here
I have searched more and more about “The New Web Project“.
As far as I can tell for new, this all is produced by a Dutch media agency called “Transmedia 7“. The exact goals aren’t clear to me yet. But I got my hands on a “movie script”. Here is the plot (translated from the Dutch original document):
Four extremely intelligent ex-Google employees working on a secret project. They are specially selected on the basis of arbitrary characteristics. As soon becomes apparent that this is not standard project, they come pretty quickly after the real intention of Google.
The ex-employees had never thought that this crucial information in their hands would vallen Fate calls and the clock is ticking. They place different messages on their joint weblog Truth Google, providing pointers to what they actually are doing.
They do, however, for other information secret. Information about the fact that authorities involved in the project and that a larger idea behind it with many (economic) interests, they été grootí for a time out and ensure they are afraid that they stand out too much or maybe even be killed.
They come into an archive where information about numerology, astrology, symbolism and Multiple Conspiracies that world cycling. But they are running genuine incrypted symbolism. The ex-employees trying to decode these symbols with the help of the people on Twitter and the common blog.
This means, in the near future “clues” will be displayed on the “Truth Google” blog (troggle.wordpress.com) and an interactive conversation via Twitter will be launched.
It is also interesting to see, that they primarily aim at Google. And they have been contacted by Google. Now they are scared a little bit 😀
Right now, in a private board the members are heavily discussing about the future of the project. Some think it is time to cancel, others want to continue because many people still think the Internet is censored.
All those Twitter accounts (AstroManiac, whuup, igortinbergen, henrydewaag) are completely faked. Created personas for this “marketing” gag. Just for fun I have reported all of them as fakes to Twitter.
I’ll keep you updated.
That’s not even a real media agency – it’s a student-run media agency, probably for a university project.
