I am just out of the theatre with some friends. We went watching the new Spiderman flick, Spiderman 3 (IMDb). Yes, it is already in our cinemas, not like Germany where the movie starts on May 3rd or in the US where it starts on May 4th. Back to the movie and the actual question:
After the break (yes, that still exists in Switzerland) we sat back in the cinema and the movie continued. A little while latter, we asked us if there was not a part missing. And indeed, after another 30 minutes or so the story was jumping back and the missing part was showing. That is something I hate. And a staff member told me that the same happened on the previous show. After the movie was finished, a staff member said, that they are going to refund the full price of the ticket due to this misfortune.
I now ask myself if that wasn’t to much. I paid 11 CHF (around 9US$) for the ticket. Now the question: Wouldn’t 5 CHF be enough to refund? How would you handle this? Half of the movie was okay…
Oh, the movie was so-la-la. Some good jokes, but some scenes were just stupid and way to long. And it is very predictable and no big surprises.
