Have you heard of FON ? They wanna build a world wide (free) WiFi network. They ask people to share their Internet connection with others and can for that use other WiFis. And currently they are giving away Linksys routers/access points for 5(€|$) (without shipping). I got mine today and installed it. So now everybody has free WiFi here in Laax. Just step by and enjoy life.
And next time I am on holiday, I need to check out other users sharing their Internet.
In case you wonder how secure this is: The Router itself runs on an its own subnet, so your users do not see your network (and if you are paranoid, you can still put a firewall in between).
Lets see where I place the sticker that comes with the wifi device…
