Update 9:50 am CEST: The chat works again in Firefox 3.5.2. Quick fix?
Facebook updates their chat quiet often. The last big update allowed to show your online/offline status to different groups you have set up.
But tonight Facebook screwed big times. The newest release opens in a new window and displays this error message to me:
You’re using an old web browser to browse Facebook. To use the full version of Chat from within a regular Facebook window, please upgrade your browser.
Below that message is a link to firefox.com. To bad I already HAVE the newest Firefox version (3.5.2).
In Safari the chat works correctly. No idea what the developers and testers where smoking while making this update.
